This was an e-mail sent to me by my friend, C.V. Vaughn from California.
I can't take this anymore. Have you heard Apple has done it again? I mean the trademark using and stuff? They disregarded the existing laws again and relied on their money on getting things fixed, and as usual, that happened after they have already committed a violation.
Remember the iPhone sizzle in 2007? They used the name iPhone even after knowing Cisco has the rights to the name. They even tried multiple times to purchase the trademark from Cisco. After they heavily failed on getting it, they even created a sort of a front company to buy it for them, which again ultimately failed.
But they still went on to use the iPhone name even if Cisco did not gave them persmission, which eventually resulted in a lawsuit. This was Steve Job's way of doing things, provoking companies to sue them and then afterwards persuading them to go on a secret deal and settle things off. Now, Apple is able to use iPhone without any problems.
And Apple seems very confident of their influence and their money. They did almost exactly the same with their newest gadget offering, the iPad, only this time, it was Apple who initiated things and avoided legal woes.
iPad is a registered trademark for Fujitsu. It will be BS to say Apple did not know the iPad is an already registered name. But even with this, they still went on to unveil their gadget to the people using this name. As a matter of fact, Apple has only acquired the iPad trademark last March 17 for an undisclosed amount.
Those running Apple are all completely arrogant. Moving on with their plans even if they know they will get possible legal problems just shows how much they think of themselves to the extent of provoking other companies to submit to what they want.
