Perhaps, this kind of problem is something that only university students are having. For students, studying inside the home can be a difficult task, given the distractions that increase in number every minute. Personally, I find it difficult to study when there's little space around and when there is too much familiar noise. Productivity is greatly damaged, tasks long overdue are still not started, while I still have to wait until late midnight just to be able to get myself into the mood.
How do you deal with this kind of issue? Find a place where you are comfortable. Typically, for students, this will be the local cafe or restaurant or something similar. However, staying in one of those fancy restaurants for a cafes can be quite expensive. Since we're also talking about students, the burden is even easier. I guess we can say the same for freelancers who are just starting out with their new careers.
So let's see. We want to have a place where we can work all throughout the night and day without having to pay much, if any at all. Fortunately, I can think of a number of such locations in the metro.
On top of the list is, of course, McDonald's. I can't just describe how much helpful the 24-hour McDonald's stores has been to me and my friends. I cannot imagine right now how we would be able to survive the last few months without the free WiFi there--open for 24 hours. It only takes one burger to use the connection--and they are not even that strict about it.
Then there are those 24-hour convenience stores. Seven Eleven is a popular choice, but I think Ministop is more famous for its affordable food items, such as ice cream cones, and cozier atmosphere. Well, ask my friends who stay there until dawn just to review!
