I never imagined myself sitting in front of the computer, working on articles to submit, and call it a job, with a salary. But here I am now, facing my computer, working on articles to submit and officially calling it a job with salary.
I am now one of those "online freelance writers" as they call it in my new-found world. Well, this might sound odd to you, but I actually have never been into computers and to the internet that much unlike many people my age.
I don't even have the "must create" online accounts my friends are telling me about. You know, those online social communities like Facebook, MySpace, Friendster, Twitter, Plurk et al. I do have my personal online journal though, which, sad to say, is private and is only available for me to see. Ha! As if you care a bit about my private life.
I'm not a pro writer, especially if it's intended for public submission but I'm learning by the day. Some readings, a couple of learning to make, a bunch of effort to put, and I'm off to go and try to become a good writer.
Working online works at the convenience of anyone who has access to the internet in one way or another. I'm actually studying the idea of working online through my phone since I most of the time have access to the internet via my mobile phone. Or if ever internet is inaccessible to the area, I can always write article drafts and edit them back home for review. Man, I'm starting to love this handy job.
