My old netbook just gave up on me, it crashed while I was on the middle of doing research paper for the semester. Totally great timing.
So my brother, who just received a new laptop as a reward for winning a university-wide debate, was kind enough and gave me his 2-year old notebook, an HP Pavilion Tablet PC.
We at the house are fans of HP products, though recently Dell products are starting to make their own names in the house. For the latest count, we have 6 HP computers - 2 of which are broken and 4 are still working, with the oldest being 7 years old and youngest HP in the house is 2.
Dell laptops are now up to 3 from just 1 a year ago - 2 for my uncle and 1 for my brother.
The tablet pc I just received is old and the drivers are outdated as it has been left unused for 4 months because according to my brother the touch screen capabilities of the tablet pc are not really good.
After just minutes of using it, I learned he was right. But in general it still is a good one as long as I can browse the net, do the write-ups for my research paper and play my favorite game, World of Goo.
World of Goo is definitely a fun game to play in touch screens. I can play it about a thousand times better than with using a mouse. My uncle got me hook into this game and although I'm having a hard time finishing it, leaving me on the "losers side" of the family (my brothers finished it), I still enjoy playing it.
It's a challenging game that you should all try. It's definitely not a game for the weak strategists and us slow learners (ouch!), but at least we can try our luck.
